Some new stills and posters for three upcoming movies were released online earlier today, and although none of 'em are comic book films, we think they will be of interest.

Below you'll find two new images from The Nun, as well as the first official stills from Creed II. We also have a batch of international character posters for Jason Statham's giant shark flick The Meg, one of which spotlights our new Batwoman, Ruby Rose.

Adonis And Rocky From Creed II

Creed II – Exclusive

This first pic is from the highly-anticipated sequel to Creed.

Here we see Adonis (Michael B. Jordan) training with his mentor Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) for his big match against the son of the man who killed his father in the ring, Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).

Another shot of Michael B. Jordan's Adonis, this time making his way to the ring - presumably for his fight against Ivan's son Viktor.

“That character was so huge in Rocky IV,” Jordan told Empire on the set of Creed II in Philadelphia. “We didn’t have a real villain or an antagonist first time around. It was more or less an origin story. This time we’ve found the perfect vehicle to build on that.”

Father Burke And Valak From The Nun

The Nun – Exclusive

Next up is a new shot from horror prequel The Nun.

The image features Father Burke, played by Demián Bichir, being stalked by the demonic nun of the title, Valak.

Valak From The Nun

The Nun – Exclusive

Another look at Valak, who was first introduced in James Wan's sequel to The Conjuring. The demon's origin story will be helmed by The Hallow director Corin Hardy.

“It’s a bigger movie in many ways than something like The Hallow, but it’s also a grounded movie in that we’re doing it all for real,” Hardy tells Empire in the new issue. “There’s very little CGI: actually less CGI than even The Hallow. We’re concentrating more on complex choreography and mind-trickery.”

Suyin From The Meg

Now we come to two sets of character posters for The Meg, which feature different shots of the three leads.

First up is Suyin, who is played by Transformer: Age of Extinction actress Li Bingbing.

Jonas Taylor From The Meg

Next, we have Jason Statham as The Meg's main hero, Jonas Taylor.

That giant shark doesn't stand a chance!

Jaxx Herd From The Meg

Earlier today we found out that Ruby Rose would be playing Batwoman on The CW's Arrowverse, but before that she'll tussle with a prehistoric beast as Jaxx Herd in The Meg.

Jonas Taylor #2

These posters feature the same three characters, but are much cooler.

As far as we know, this is just some artistic licence and The Meg won't actually feature ghost-sharks. We can always hope that changes for the sequel.

Jaxx Herd #2

Another shot of Ruby Rose as Jaxx, who is described as a "kick-ass engineering genius and member of the marine research team."

Suyin #2

Li Bingbing's character Suyin is the captain of a high-tech Chinese deep-sea exploration vessel named Zhang Oceanic, which first discovers the existence of Carcharocles megalodon.

I really cant wait for Creed 2. I dont know why, but for the last week, the only filmed I have watched has been Creed. Time after time, the movie finishes and I start it from the beginning again.Ive watched perhaps 8-9 times. Even me being a massive MCU ho, I have never watched a film so often.

Not sure if that speargun will have much of an affect on lil ol’Meg.

Some of it was filmed in NZ so I guess it’ll do well enough down this way.

Still haven't seen Creed. I haven't heard a single bad thing about it, just cant seem to get my interest up for it. It looks good and so does Creed 2.

I also haven't seen any of the Conjuring movies so I know nothing about them or Annabelle or the Nun. So my hype is non existent.

The Meg looks like a direct to DVD schlock fest. I have absolutely no idea why its getting so much attention. Plot seems weak, actors are meh, just looks like an average over the top concept of a film we've all seen a million times already.

Imma probably pass on all 3 unless I happen to watch Creed.

@ArthurFleck - Its a bit overhyped, when you factor in Jordan's lack of charisma and that he's written a bit unbelievably (a wannabe thug gets taken out of the bad 'hood and raised in a rich boarding school environment, classed up to have a college degree and good career...then, what, he's got the angst of a 15 year old, shown by retaining his thug mannerisms? c'mon. Terrible writing).
But I will say the cancer scenes and anything with Sly in it...what a performance by Sly. I've been a take him or leave him fan, enjoying his movies for what they were, but he definitely impressed me in this movie. I just wish it was better all the way through and wasn't trying to mimick Rocky 1 and place it in a more "modern" ghetto setting
