There's a huge amount of excitement for Creed III, and while Sylvester Stallone's Rocky won't be part of the movie, Michael B. Jordan returns as Adonis Creed and steps behind the camera to direct. It's an exciting next step for the actor and one that could lead to even bigger projects for him (we'd love to see him follow Creed director Ryan Coogler into the MCU).
Joining Jordan will be Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors as Damian "Dame" Anderson, a character who is perhaps the most dominant opponent Adonis has ever faced.
Now, we have an extended Super Bowl TV spot for the upcoming threequel (via ActioNewz.com) that offers a thrilling new glimpse at the fight to come. The dynamic between these two former friends should make for compelling viewing, and we can clearly expect this to be a personal clash with stakes higher than any previous matchups in this spin-off franchise.
Majors is on a roll both in and outside of the MCU, and we're anticipating another scene-stealing performance when he dons Dame's gloves and steps into the ring with the Black Panther star.
In Creed III, after dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring.
