Talking to Filmstarts recently, Daniel Craig has confirmed that the reports of a two-part James Bond movie from screenwriter John Logan were more than a little premature. While it's fairly obvious that he would deny such a rumour (though the fact it came from such a reliable source surely gives it more credence than that - read the full story HERE), the Skyfall actor also revealed that he's yet to make a decision about returning as 007 in another instalment after the next one, which is currently expected to be taking aim at a 2014 release, hits the big screen. Check out the interview below and be sure to sound off with your thoughts on this news in the usual place. Click HERE to read my 5* review of Skyfall.

"No, I don't know where that's come from. It's impossible to do a two parter, I heard that someone was talking about that we're doing a two parter, but that's the first I've heard about it. We can only do them one at a time, they take six months to shoot. You can't write one movie thinking about the next. All we're trying to do is get the next one sorted out and it'll stand on its own and if I'm able I'll do another one after that."

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

STARRING:

Daniel Craig as James Bond

Judi Dench as M
Ralph Fiennes as ?????
Albert Finney as ?????

A classy badass at 44. None better, true Bond.

Mr.Connery rests at ease.

Daniel Graig is a good James Bond.

@Nomis
I'd say great idea if and only if they were shot at the same time or back to back and released on more than a year apart.

And I hope we get a FEW MORE Craig Bonds. He's awesome.

Craig is my favorite Bond. I too hope that we get more than just two final films from him.

Though Solace was a bit convoluted I still think Craig is the best bond yet. I sincerely hope we see two or three more with him in the lead.

I think they should stay as connected as Casino Royale and QoS but as far as villain and main plot are concerned they should pretty much be self contained

I think this could be possible and he knows that. But he either does not want to start speculation himself or like has been said is looking for a raise. This is maybe where Idris Elba was felt out to come in.

You could easily leave a Bond movie open with a cliffhanger and pick it up in the second movie. Heck with my pea sized brain I can conger up a story where Bond chases after a villian only to realize that the villian at the end of the movie is the pawn of a much larger cover-up operation that he has to go in deeper than he wants to protection his country.

I hope they end the story Casino Royale and QoS established with the next film. Return of Mr. White is must.

Leader of that Quantum organization should be the main villain.

I'm glad they had a fresh story in Skyfall, which is a great film btw, I hope they leave the Quantum sh!t behind them.

Huh, I guess will see what happens. It sounds like Daniel Craig has two more in him, which is great to hear.

@AlexDeLarge The Quantum organization is supposed to be SPECTRE in the rebooted Bond films. I hope we get see to see him soon too.

I'm hoping it's Blofeld. It has to be Blofeld.
