First Official Look At Bruce Willis In A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD

Yippee-ki-yay, motherlover! Actors Bruce Willis (John McClane) and Jai Courtney (Jack McClane) are featured in the first official image from A Good Day To Die Hard. Which happens to be the fifth film in the popular Die Hard franchise.

Spartacus star Jai Courtney is playing Jack McClane, the son of John McClane (Bruce Willis) and he spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming film. While he wasn't forthcoming about the villains in the movie, he did have this to say:

“That’s the thing about the Die Hard franchise, John’s always a fish out of water. What could be further out of water for him than Russia?… The relationship isn’t always functional. These are two guys who have been estranged for some time. John likes to wing it, see what happens. Jack’s more of a strategist.”

A Good Day to Die Hard puts McClane on an international stage, truly a NYC fish out of water in Moscow, and introduces his estranged son Jack (Jai Courtney). An apple that has not fallen far from the tree, Jack may even be more of a hardass than his father. Despite their differences, they must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy.

Bruce is a real chameleon. He looks always the same in every film. But damn he can act when the right role comes.

tea@ As a guy who has born on the late 80´s the second and third Die Hard are classics to me too. Although the first definitely is my favorite.
To me Die Hard ended when they made the fourth one.
This should explain.

Nice, love to see McClane's son! Al body armored-up, and John no protection at all, it really does appear to be a Good Day to Die Hard! :-)

The first three Die Hard films were the best. Live Free or Die Hard was decent. I hope A Good Day to Die Hard is better.

Can't agree more with or add to Tea's statements except to reiterate.

Die Hard 1 is a classic and it should have stopped there.

I liked "Live free Die Hard", Die Hard 4; it was far more interesting then Die Hard 2 and 3 and Bruce Willis I mean John McClane, was all bruised up and really seemed more like an action hero in that movie considering all the things he did in that movie.

I wonder if Steven spielberg and George Lucas are planning on making a Indiana Jones 5 movie now since die hard 5 has been made, and after die hard 4 was made Steven spielberg made Indiana Jones 4

I agree that none of the sequels touch the first one, but I still enjoy them more than most other action movies. I'd probably enjoy watching the worst Die Hard more than the best Mission Impossible or James Bond.

I liked all the movies, but the first was the startin' point of Bruce's career. His first movie after "Moonlightin'" and... BOOM ... superstar. Willis is one of the few action heroes who can actually act not just bring the action. Die Hard was one of a kind at the time and that makes it better regardless of what else happens in the sequels.

I want to see the return of Bonnie Bedelia, the only one who can put John McClane in his place. I also want to see the return of that wimpy news reporter from the first film, that was classic.

I don't think Die Hard is the untouchable masterpiece action classic many claim it to be. It's a great enjoyable movie. And so were 2 and 3. Don't get the hate for them. I place 1, 2, and 3 on the same level.
