Fans of Indiana Jones, start prepping to experience adventure with one of your favorite archaelogists this summer! On June 6th the films Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be released in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 by Lucasfilm Ltd. and Paramount Home Entertainment.

This release is an absolute need for Indiana Jones enthusiasts since each disc will arrive in a gorgeous box with artwork that is fashioned after the posters that were featured in the theaters. In addition, the bundle will come with access to a digital copy of the movie that is equivalent to each DVD that is included in the set. The movies may be viewed by fans on any screen of their choosing, be it a computer monitor, a television, or even a mobile device such as a smartphone.

Each film was restored by scanning the original negatives in 4K, which produced a picture that is both the most authentic and of the highest possible quality. The outcome of this process is a film that has been remastered. The director Steven Spielberg has vouched for all of the image work that has been done on the films, assuring that they would be able to meet the rigorous standards that he has set for them.

The films that were restored went through a rigorous process in order to provide the best picture and sound quality. Additionally, in order to generate Dolby Atmos recordings, the soundtracks of all four movies were rerecorded at Skywalker Sound. Fans may look forward to a watching experience that is equivalent to that of a movie theater, but they won't even have to leave the comfort of their own homes to do it.

The Indiana Jones franchise has been one of the most popular among fans for more over 40 years, and the upcoming release of these films in 4K Ultra HD is certain to delight fans of all ages.

On top of the digital release for home viewers, on June 4th and 7th, Raiders of the Lost Ark will make a limited return to select theaters. This will give moviegoers another awesome opportunity to experience the excitement of the very first Indiana Jones film.

You can purchase tickets for this one-of-a-kind event that is being staged by Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures by going to the website www.fathomevents.com or participating theaters are also selling tickets from their box offices.

Pitty that he didn't have rigorous standards for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull script.

For all of you young bucks who never saw Raiders in the theaters make it a point to see this theatrical rerelease. It’s so much more amazing on the big screen.

@bobevanz - streaming is lame, 15 mb/s versus 80-100 and uncompressed audio. Physical is king!

Raiders Of The Lost Ark would be in my top ten favourite movies of all time.

I would only buy the first three movies because that is when Indy's adventures ended for me.

Think I'll wait until the inevitable 5 movie box set is released once Dial of Destiny makes it's way to physical media. If you're a completionist like me There's nothing more annoying than having a box set then a separate disc on it's own because another movie in the franchise was released later :-).
