BOND 25 Full Cast Reveal Includes MR. ROBOT's Rami Malek, BLADE RUNNER 2049's Ana de Armas & More

Last week, we learned a whole lot about Daniel Craig's final outing as 007 as well as his supporting cast, which includes Mr. Robot star Rami Malek as the villain, Blade Runner 2049's Ana de Armas & more!

Late last week, Eon Productions and MGM hosted a live reveal of the long-rumored cast of Cary Fukunaga's James Bond 25 and it features a number of familiar faces as well as newcomers to the franchise that will all have a part to play in Daniel Craig's final outing as 007.

In addition to Craig, Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Lea Seydeoux (Madeleine), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), and Jeffrey Wright (Felix) will be returning as Bond's various allies.

The newcomers are headlined by Academy Award-winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody), who will play the villain of the piece, and also feature Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Billy Magnussen (Velvet Buzzsaw), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Dali Benssalah (Flash), and David Dencik (Quicksand).

As for plot details, the studio is keeping those close to the chest, but producer Barbara Broccoli did offer the following tease, "Bond is not on active service when we start the film. So, he is actually enjoying himself in Jamaica." She notes how the island paradise is sort of a "spiritual home" for the secret agent and continues, "We start the story here and we built an extraordinary house for him." However, his time off is going to take a wild turn, "there's quite a ride in store for Mr. Bond."

Here's the official synopsis: "Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Principal photography only just began yesterday and will continue into the summer. This will also be the first time in the Bond franchise that a film has been shot entirely with IMAX cameras, specifically the 15 perf 65mm film camera.

I wish they cast Elba as the villian just to see the comments.

The last few Bond movies have been awful, but I'll watch Ana de Armas do absolutely anything.

Hope it’s more Casino Royale/Skyfall and less Quantum of Solace/ Spectre. Spectre was so boring and nonsensical I never even finished it

Best part of this is that this man is back.

So criminally underused in these films.

Don't get the hype for Malek. I expect him to just do some rendition of his Mr. Robot character.

I would've liked to see a female foil for Bond. Craig's wife Weisz is someone I could actually picture going toe to toe with him.

I was extremely excited about Spectre, mostly due to the cast, but ultimately only watched it waaaay into its home release. Didn't miss much. Skyfall was nice enough when I watched it in the theater, but I didn't even make it through another viewing since then. Honestly no idea what Quantum of Solace was about.

Casino Royale remains the only Craig era Bond movie I really love. At least all-time top 3 for me.
