New SPECTRE Stills; Daniel Craig Says His 'Bond' "Not As Sexist" As Previous Ones

These new images from Sam Mendes' Spectre feature 007 playing chess with a mystery opponent (you can probably guess who that is), and standing with the lovely Madeline Swann (Lea Seydoux).

In addition to the stills, we have some quotes from Daniel Craig's recent interview with Esquire Magazine. Word round the campfire is that this might well be Craig's last time in the role of 007, and when asked this outright the actor takes a neutral stance... but doesn't debunk it.  “I really don’t know," he says. "Honestly. I’m not trying to be coy. At the moment I can’t even conceive it.” Craig also comments on this more modern take on the notoriously cold, womanising superspy.

“Hopefully, my Bond is not as sexist and misogynistic as [earlier incarnations]. The world has changed. I am certainly not that person. But he is, and so what does that mean? It means you cast great actresses and make the parts as good as you can for the women in the movies.”

We won't mention the "waste of good scotch" scene from Skyfall, then. Be sure to check out the full, in-depth interview at the link below. Spectre opens in theaters Nov. 6.

I was just reading this. It sounds like this is his last Bond movie. After all the lackluster antagonists of 2015 I don't see how Christoph Waltz won't run away with the best villain title.

LOL and apparently Idris Elba is "Too Street" to play James Bond . . .

Kylo Ren, or possibly one of the hateful 8 could challenge for best villain along side Christoph Waltz.

Can't wait for Spectre! Craig is the best Bond ever, and I am sure Waltz will be an amazing villain.

Henry Cavill seems the most likely to be the next Bond.

I think Cavill's too buff to be Bond. I could see Fassbender in the role.

That's true. Even Gusto said Cavill was "too huge to fit all the way inside me!"

His words, not mine.

He was probably just trying to make sure Lemmiwinks didn't get crushed.

@mexicansuperman

He should dump those Assassin's Creed movies. The first one will probably tank anyways since video game movies are garbage.

And the Cowgirls won't be winning another Super Bowl in the foreseeable future, no matter how much you, @joemomma29, and @Nomis like to give each other Dutch Rudders while looking at pictures of Jerry Jones.

Meh for Cavill as Bond. Idris Elba and Michael Fassbender would be better.

Chris Nolan directing would be amazing

I think him or Fincher would be legit.
