Expect To See More Of Janet Van Dyne When Ant-Man & The Wasp Hits Blu-ray
Michelle Pfeiffer's Janet Van Dyne was one of the highlights of Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp, but she really didn't get much screen-time until the very end of the movie. Fortunately for fans of the character, it sounds like we can expect to see at least a bit more of her once the sequel makes it to home release.
Here's what director Peyton Reed had to say while chatting to Empire on their spoiler podcast.
“We wanted to maintain a little bit of mystery about Janet and what has transpired in the thirty years she’s been down there [in the Quantum Realm] and also the idea she talks about how she’s evolved while she’s down there. We only see a couple of examples of it. There’s a little bit more Janet on the Blu-Ray and DVD release. There will be one deleted scene with Hank and Janet down there, which we just couldn’t find a place for in the movie.”
New Ralph Breaks The Internet Promo Poster
Following the news that Gal Gadot will be voicing a character in Ralph Breaks the Internet, we have an adorable new promo poster for the animated sequel featuring Vanellope von Schweetz and her new Disney Princess pals pulling faces for the camera.
Disney's Wreck-It Ralph sequel is set to hit theaters on November 21st.
Deadpool And Thor Exchange Tweets
Well, the actors that play Deadpool and Thor!
Chris Hemsworth sent out a Tweet after his son planted his face into his birthday cake with the candles still lit, tagging Ryan Reynolds and joking that he's now ready to replace him as The Merc with a Mouth.
Reynolds, of course, responded in typical fashion.
New Look At Star Trek's Chris Pine In Outlaw King
EW has debuted a new image from Outlaw King, which stars Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman) as legendary Scottish King, Robert the Bruce.
The historical drama also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Florence Pugh, Billy Howle, Tony Curran and Stephen Dillane, and is set to be released on Netflix this November.
New American Horror Story: Apocalypse Teaser
Here we have a striking new promo for the eighth season of FX's American Horror Story, which seems to be directly inspired by a certain episode of Twin Peaks: The Return.
We still don't know much about Apocalypse, but the title and the imagery suggest that it'll focus on the end of the world, possibly resulting from the birth of The Antichrist. It's also been confirmed that this season will be a Murder House and Coven crossover.
New Suspiria Still
EW has also shared a new image from Luca Guadagnino's upcoming remake of Dario Argento's horror classic, Suspiria.
The pic features star Dakota Johnson and some of her dancer friends striking a pose.
Suspiria hits theaters on November 2.
Kim Possible Promo
The Disney Channel has debuted the first teaser for the upcoming live-action, feature-length adaptation of popular animated series Kim Possible.
The footage gives us a glimpse of Sadie Stanley as the teenage super-spy of the title as she delivers the character's trademark phrase.
Kim Possible will premiere sometime next year.
New Avengers 4 Fan-Art Depicts The Death Of Iron Man
This Avengers 4 fan-art from Ultraraw26 imagines a scenario in which Thanos finishes the job he started in Infinity War and snuffs out Tony Stark. The rather gloomy artwork features Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) cradling her fallen comrade.
Will this happen in the actual movie? Well, a lot of people believe either Stark or Cap (or both) are done for, so it's certainly a possibility.
First Look At Dan Stevens In Apostle
Another new still from EW here, this time giving us a first look at Legion's Dan Stevens in Gareth Evans' highly-anticipated Netflix thriller, Apostle.
The plot revolves around Stevens' character travelling to a remote island to rescue his sister after she’s kidnapped by a mysterious religious cult demanding a ransom for her safe return.
Apostle will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in September before debuting on Netflix on October 12.
Idris Elba Responds To James Bond Casting Rumor
Finally, Idris Elba (Thor: Ragnarok, Luther, The Wire) has send out a couple of Tweets in response to the recent rumor that he's being lined up to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond.
The first one was taken as confirmation that he was up for the role by some sites, but had they bothered to check out his follow-up Tweet they'd have realized he was taking the piss.
Does this mean Elba definitely won't be playing Bond? Well, if he is up for 007 he's certainly doing his best to play it down.
