The trailer for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is now online, and it's safe to say fans of the ultra-violent action franchise won't be disappointed with this first look at the latest installment - even if it is a little light on claret!

The last time we saw Keanu Reeves' lethal assassin, he was on the run after violating the rules of The Continental and being forced to flee from some of the deadliest killers in the world. When we catch up with him in Chapter 3 he'll still be in danger, but he'll also have some help in the form of Halle Berry's enigmatic Sofia and her pet pooches.

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster, and let us know what you think in the comments.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

John Wick: Chapter 3 also stars Mark Dacascos, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Boban Marjanovi? and Laurence Fishburne, and is set to hit theaters on May 17, 2019.

@DoctorDoomSayer - lol gtfo. Not even close.
The Bourne Trilogy is the best action trilogy maybe John Wick can match that but nothing beats The LOTR trilogy.

@marvel72 - Godfather Part 3 is...ok.

I would probably replace that series with Toy Story, the "Before Sunrise" trilogy or the original Indianaa Jones trilogy.

Bourne is by far my favorite (the last two sucked though), followed by the Cap trilogy.

@DoctorDoomSayer - Best trilogy for its genre. Captain Aerica is on another level.

A thing of fcking beauty. AWESOME. John on the motorcycle with yakuza coming up behind him, epic!!

Can't wait for the third entry, this will be one of the best action trilogies ever.

@HeavyMetal4Life - serious is one of the best action trilogies that i can remember. right up there with Plant of the Ape serious and the last 3 MI films

HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/17/2019, 9:18 AM
@MotherGooseUPus - preach on brother!! For me, it would go:

1. MI new trilogy (GP, RN, F)
2. John Wick trilogy (assuming Parabellum is as good as last two)
3. Planet of the Apes

Trilogies within the MCU are tough because they also rely on films outside of solos, but the Cap trilogy would go somewhere around 2 on that list of mine.
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 1/17/2019, 9:32 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life -

thats exactly how my list is... and would go if we added Caps trilogy in there... however, Nolan's TDK trilogy is the best cbm trilogy to date (i'm not counting the Avengers)
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/17/2019, 9:35 AM
@MotherGooseUPus - I think the Cap trilogy is better than TDK trilogy. If TDKR had been better, it would be number one.
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 1/17/2019, 9:43 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life - ahhh we finally disagree... its more like 1A and 1B, but i love them both... both are fantastic and will be hard to ever top
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/17/2019, 9:58 AM
@MotherGooseUPus -Haha, let's put it this way. You and I both agree that the Cap and Tdk trilogies are the two best superhero trilogies. It just comes down to personal taste for which ones better. Heres my perspective:

- Batman Begins and First Avenger are both pretty good, with BB probably slightly better
- TDK is obviously better than Winter Soldier, but not by too much. Dark Knight is a perfect film, though I'd rather watch Winter Soldier because TDK os such a dark, heavy film
- Civil War is much, much better than TDKR (which is still a good movie). There were some major flaws with that film, and I hated Hathaways Catwoman; Talia wasnt that good either. And Bane's death was lame AF.
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 1/17/2019, 10:17 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life - honestly... i agree with this statement so idk why i like TDK trilogy more? I love them both. But if i was guna watch any of the movies over it'd be..

TDK
CA:CW
CA:TWS

so 2 of the top 3 are Caps movies... yet i like TDK trilogy better.. makes no damn sense lol
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/17/2019, 10:20 AM
@MotherGooseUPus - Haha as I said, personal preferences. I'd watch those 2 Cap films over TDK personally. You've got to be in the right mood to watch such a dark, taxing film. Same goes for Logan.
MotherGooseUPus
MotherGooseUPus - 1/17/2019, 12:07 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - honestly... agreed. i really love TWS and CW... could watch either of those movies any day of the week. TDK i need to be in the mood but i do love that movie

@MotherGooseUPus - Haha we are back to agreeing
