Lionsgate Launches A New JOHN WICK CHAPTER 2 Viral Site
You've heard of GQ Magazine, but what about CQ Magazine? A viral site for Lionsgate's John Wick Chapter 2 has launched, spoofing the men's style magazine as a publication catering to assassins.
Lionsgate has launched Continental Quarterly, a new viral website for an online magazine set within the world of John Wick Chapter 2 . Currently the website contains imagery from previously released footage and posters and a letter from "The Editor", the owner of the Continental Hotel, played by Ian McShane in the first film. Of note, the cover for the "Winter Issue" teases that more content will be available in January so check back as soon as tomorrow for the possibility of new footage, stills, etc.
ABOUT JOHN WICK CHAPTER 2
John Wick is a 2014 stylishly violent action film starring Keanu Reeves, Willem Defoe, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane and John Leguizamo. The film earned $86 million worldwide from an estimated production budget of just $20 million.
The sequel was greenlit in May 2015 with Chad Stahelski returning to helm the sequel while his fellow co-director departed to helm Deadpool 2 for 20th Century Fox. Reeves reprises his role in the second installment where he'll be joined by Common, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose and Peter Serafinowicz. Also reprising their supporting roles from the first film are Lance Reddick, McShane, Leguizamo and Moynahan. John Wick Chapter 2 arrives in theaters on February 10, 2017.
A third installment was confirmed to be in development back in October 2016.
