Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige Has Confirmed Conversations With JOHN WICK Star Keanu Reeves

Although he doesn't mention which project they're currently discussing, Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that the studio has spoken with Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Bill and Ted) about joining The MCU...

A rumor that Keanu Reeves was being looked at for a role in The Eternals did the rounds recently, and it looks like there may have been some truth to it - although from the sounds of things, that's not the only MCU project he's being considered for!

While speaking to ComicBook.com at the Spider-Man: Far From Home press junket, Kevin Feige was asked about the rumor, and revealed that they've been trying to get the John Wick actor on board for a while now.

“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige laughed. “I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”

Apparently, Reeves finds himself in a similar position to Far From Home's Jake Gyllenhaal, who was approached by the studio "multiple times" before the right role came his way. Could that be a character in The Eternals for Reeves? Feige wouldn't confirm or deny, but let's hope some upcoming MCU role pique his interest.

Which Marvel hero/villain would you most like to see Keanu Reeves suit-up as? Drop us a comment down below.

@Reeds2Much - They're already adapting Hit-Monkey to an animated series on Hulu+. I highly doubt Marvel would want to waste his face on an animated role.

He definitely would nail that voice role though.

@L0RDbuckethead - I honestly forgo Hit Monkey was going to be a thing, but the little simian is who always flashes in my brain when John Wick comes up.

If I were making a serious suggestion, I'd go with Aaron Stack in a Nextwave movie (with Tom Cruise as Dirk Anger)

@JonC - He should play Tony's brother, Brandon "the Broken" Stark

it'd have been a little on the nose and perhaps wasteful given the size of the role, but he'd have been a dope Ancient One

@HeraldNumber7 -

to add-on to that:

i'd have made Swinton the villain in Doctor Strange & saved Mads to be our rightful DOOM

@HeraldNumber7 - Unless Keanu is being considered for Doom!

@Tonic24k - I mean the bigger question is who doesn't want to work with Keanu?
