Lionsgate Reveals Release Dates For Two-Part THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY

Following the tradition set by the final Harry Potter and Twilight movies, Lionsgate have confirmed plans to split The Hunger Games: Mockingjay into two parts, while also revealing the release dates for both.

Deadline reports that Lionsgate are planning to release two films based on Mockingjay; the third and final instalment in Suzanne Collins' best-selling The Hunger Games trilogy. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is currently set for release on November 22, 2013, with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 set to follow on November 21, 2014 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 on November 20th, 2015. There's currently no word on who will direct the final two movies, although the main cast members are expected to return.
