And I thought 2011 would be a great year for movies like that, but ended up that this year is really full of fun to us all, from Comic Books to Sci-Fi Horror movies, the year is going to be long and a big amount of money will get out of my pocket. So check here my list with the movies I most looking forward to watch on 2012.

10. GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE

Well, I hated the first movie, actually mostly everyone did, but this one may be worth a look, even though I don't like Nic Cage on the main role. The action seems interesting, the 3D may be well done and well, we've got two crazy directors behind the cameras, so the action scenes may end up being awesome.

9. MEN IN BLACK 3

I will start saying that I was never a fan of the first two movies, never saw anything amazing or interesting on those, but this third one may be good at the end, now that we've got the storyline in a time with better special effects, so soon enough we'll see if I can finally enjoy this franchise, even knowing that the story seems really confusing, with a trailer that didn't revealed anything that could interest us at all. But well, the new supporting cast seems really good, with the likes of Josh Brolin and Emma Thompson.

8. JOHN CARTER

Before the movie was announced I didn't even knew about the books, yeah I know pretty disappointing, but by judging what I've seen in the trailers it seems like the story is really amazing and is told in a beautiful way with an outstanding visual. The cast also is really well put, with Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Willem Dafoe and the amazing Mark Strong. I may not watch it when it first gets to the theatres here, but it is definitely a movie that has caught my interest for this year.

7. G.I. JOE: RETALIATION

The first movie was a disappointment in so many ways, I remember when I first watched it that I was hoping for it to end quickly, we had a horrible cast, Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans, not to forget Christopher Eccleston, who is a decent actor, but was poor written on the movie. By the time I've watched the first trailer for the new movie, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, I had hope for this, we have a cast that seems way better than the one from the first movie and less chessy villains or situations. It is one of the movies I will try to watch as soon as it hit the theatres here.

6. SKYFALL

Now this is one movie which I am sure that I will be there on the day it opens, after so many time in a doubt if it would be made or not, the new James Bond movie has finally been confirmed, with the name SkyFall the new movie for the secret british agent will be hitting theatres this november. We have an intriguing story, a great cast and not to forget that "Q" will be back on the franchise, even if he will be way younger. And it is always great to see Daniel Craig as James Bond.

5. PROMETHEUS

The original Alien by the master Ridley Scott is the best of the franchise and my favorite Sci-Fi Horror movie ever. Scott created a mysterious and dark atmosphere on the first movie, which influenced many movies to come. This year, he will be back to that same universe he created to tell a new story, nobody is sure of what Prometheus is about, but we are damn sure that it is in the same universe of Alien and to have a story that focus on new elements combined with already known elements by the fans, gets even better. The cast for this one is another confirmation that the movie is gonna be huge and great: Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and Idris Elba.

4. THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most beautiful told stories on the movie industry and has one of the most stunning visuals too. By the end of this year we will return to that same Middle-earth Peter Jackson created on the trilogy to see already known characters, whose are here younger and all new interesting characters. The trailer for the movie was, for me, the best of 2011 and got me way more excited that I already was for it. It will sure be a nice and fun come back to that same place.

3. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

When I first saw the headline: "Spider-Man 4 Canceled; Reboot In The Works", I admit that I got really mad and upset, I was against the idea, knew that it would be awful, specially with the news of it being based on the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics, but then the news about cast and story started to surface, Lizard was confirmed as the villain, Emma Stone would play GWEN STACY, Martin Sheen would play Uncle Ben and the best news yet, Andrew Garfield would play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Everything started to look like heaven to me, with the trailer arriving I got even more pumped for the movie and now, it is one of my major interests to watch this year.

2. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Oh Yeah, you're expecting for this one weren't you? Yeah of course is the second movie I most looking forward to watch this year, I'm a huge fan/lover of the first two Nolan Batman Movies and of course a big fan of the director. He gives us a deep story telling with the character, always giving it meaning to his actions. The Dark Knight Rises features new characters such as Bane and Catwoman, and our main villain may top Joker from last movie, or not, but in the end he will be as great as him anyway. The story seems interesting, nobody is sure of what will exactly happen(will there be League Of The Shadows?) but everyone wants to see the final product of it and of course, we want Bane breaking the bat.

1. THE AVENGERS

Everyone having this one as their most anticipated movie may be overrated, but it is too huge to not want this. For the first time we will see different superheroes together in a big screen adaptation and is everyone geek dream to watch it as this first hits the theatres. It may not be an epic movie in the end, which deserves an Oscar or big awards, but I am sure I'll be satisfied with this when I get out of the cinema, as real a geek since kid. The Avengers will gives us Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye for the first time together on the big screen fighting Loki and some unknown Alien Army, well for me this is what I most wanna see on the big screen this year at least.

So this is it, the movies I actually care about watching this year, share your opinions on the comments section and don't forget to give me a thumbs up.
