Definitely checking out Ghost Protocol now.

I've always been a sucker for the Mission Impossible movies, and even with that, I have to say....
Ghost Protocol is easily my favorite.

So many people (such as my immediate family) are quick to focus on Tom Cruise and try to deny him their money, thinking that it must ALL be about this actor who is in no small part, a legend (no pun intended). Regardless of how upset Scientology makes you feel, or how his being a poster boy might make you cringe, I cannot in any way see how THAT is incorporated in his acting, or the roles he has played.
ALSO, please bear in mind, that this is a giant collaboration and if you miss out because you "just don't like Tom Cruise", you're really not being fair to the rest of the cast, who simply put, make this the best of the movie series.

I just wanted to get that out of my system, wasn't directing that at anyone.

Brad Bird did a fantastic job. My ONLY complaint is that the villain doesn't open his mouth to speak enough. There was so much focus on the TEAM functionality, that Ethan actually DOES feel like the team leader, not the everyman. Paula Patton is more the pointman than anyone else.
