The area has been transformed into a Chinese market with a number of extras dressed in traditional Chinese costume. Downey Jr, who plays Sherlock Holmes, was also disguised in Chinese clothing for the scene.
Students from the University of Greenwich along with tourists have been stopping to watch.
Christoph Merker, from Germany, who is due to start his degree in cinematography and film production at the University of Greenwich next week. The 24-year-old said: “It’s pretty awesome to see them filming here and to see RDJ in action and to see how they actually do the filming and how many people are involved.” - Courtesy of
