Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive.




Django Unchained is set to hit theaters December 25th.

I cannot WAIT for this movie. As much as I did for 'The Avengers'.

Okay...maybe not THAT much, but after having read the script last year, this is second on my 2012 must-see list.

It sucks that I have to wait til January next year to see this (UK release date, ugh...)

And hopefully I get this in before the Tarantino bashers arrive - Django Unchained is not a rip off of the old Django movies. The title (and the character's name) are an homage to the legacy of the first Django movie, as about 20 rip off Django 'sequels' were made to capitalize on the original's success. QT does things like that; he knows pretty much everything about films, and likes to reference them in obscure ways.
