Is it too early to call next year's Oscar race? Lionsgate has released a hilarious new red band trailer for Tom Gormican's upcoming action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, featuring Academy Award-winning acting legend Nicolas Cage playing the role of a lifetime: Nick Cage.
The film sees Cage play a hyper-fictionalized version of himself, as well as Nicky Cage, a figment of his own imagination, and sends him across the globe when he's paid $1 million to attend the birthday of a billionaire super fan. However, when law enforcement recruits him to help them take down his notorious drug-dealing host, he must pull out all the stops and rediscover some of his most iconic and beloved characters in order to save his family from certain doom.
In addition to Cage, the cast will feature Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian; Game of Thrones), Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe; Together), Ike Barinholtz (The Afterparty; Blockers), Alessandra Mastronardi (Master of None; To Rome with Love), Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life; Batgirl), Lily Sheen (Underworld: Evolution; Click), Neil Patrick Harris (The Matrix Resurrections; Harold & Kumar), and Tiffany Haddish (The Card Counter; Bad Trip).
