RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK Producer Frank Marshall To Develop ASSASSIN'S CREED
It was revealed yesterday that Basil Iwanyk would produce New Regency and Ubisoft's Splinter Cell, and now veteran producer Frank Marshall (The Bourne Trilogy) has been brought on board to do the same for Assassin's Creed. Read on for details!
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Frank Marshall is closing in on a deal to produce Assassin's Creed for New Regency and Ubisoft Motion Pictures. He has an exceptional pedigree when it comes to producing blockbusters, and his involvement should provide this movie with the level of quality that Ubisoft are taking an active role in attempting to ensure for their adaptations. Mike Lesslie has written the script for Assassin's Creed and Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) is attached to star. This is the third major piece of news about a Ubisoft movie adaptation to hit this week following the announcement that The Expendables 2's Basil Iwanyk will produce Splinter Cell and Michael Bay will do the same - and possibly even direct - Ghost Recon.
