Wasn't Casino Royale a reboot? Just because they had a less than stellar movie with Quantum, which I thought was okay, they are talking "reboot"? Sounds like crap to me. College Humor does a funny vid about the Goldeneye game. Here's the link:

No, the original Casino Royale was not part of the official James Bond series. I don't believe that they are going to reboot the series,as Tobuttica said Casino Royale was a reboot. However, they would probably begin to remake them, but if they did it wouldn't be because of Quantum's poor profit, it would be because they are out of source material. All the Bond movies (except the 4 Piece Brosnan films, which besides Goldeneye, were horrible) all came from Ian Flemmings novels or short stories...and unfortunately, they have all been adapted into films.

Although, the new Bond novel being written, Project X, is supposed to take place in modern times, so they can possibly end up adapting that into a movie after it has been released.

All that aside, I believe that the game has nothing to do with the movie franchise, and that Bond 23 (hoping that this whole MGM thing will work itself out) will continue on the Quantum storyline they have going.

It is because they pick old actors that request too much money and then can't perform due to age. They should get a cheap good actor and have him grow into it like Sean Connery.

Connery- The smooth Bond
Lazenby- The Bond nobody cares about
Moore- The intellectual Bond
Dalton- The serious Bond
Brosnan- The pretty boy Bond
Craig- The badass Bond
