With an impressive cast which already includes Colin Firth and Michael Caine, the latest addition to the cast of the Matthew Vaughn helmed The Secret Service is no stranger to comic book movies. While Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Cruise passed on the role, it is Samuel L. Jackson who will now play the lead villain in the adaptation of the Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons series. Unknown Taron Egerton recently signed up to play 'Gary', while the hunt is now on for the female lead. It is still believed that Vaughn is considering Emma Watson and Dark Shadows' Bella Heathcote.

For me, Millar is a hit or miss when it comes to his writing. So tell me, is The Secret Service a good read?

It's like some unwritten rule in Hollywood that Michael Cain gets first dibs at the supporting white guy roles and Sam gets first shot at everything else.

Can't figure out who the hardest working man in Hollywood is.
Sam or his agent.

Actually, Sam will take any job. I can't find the direct quote right now but he stated he views being an actor like any other job, he just works hard and doesn't take any days off. His only requirement for on of his movies is that he has the weekend off for free golf trips. Other than that he doesn't ask for much money and isn't above being in a movie by small time directors or studios.

Hell, he takes pay cuts if the film starts going over budget (Snakes On a Plane) he seriously just loves being in movies.

Jackson can never be in too many movies in my eyes. He has the right attitude when he approaches his work. One of my favorites just because he's in so many films.

you guys remember the bet he and robert downey jr. made? where in ten years who could have, not just the most roles but qaulity ones... the only stipulation is that the marvel movies and any movie that they happen to be in together doesn't count
