Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A twisted punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation tactic, The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentor ship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she's ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

I don't know about everybody else, but I honestly can't get into this film. The trailers and spots have just bored the hell out of me and the posters do no better.

Very overrated books- the film looks like a poor effort, casting is just wrong, dialogue sounds bad, I have seen nothing that says this film will be entertaining.

Very nice!
The last poster released was supposed to be the "final" poster. So, what the hell?
I ordered that one thinking there wouldn't be another....This one is better. Damn you people, and the lies you utter out of your mouths.

I can't wait for this!

I just want to say that half of you retards that voted on Ghost Rider said it was an alright film. If you don't like the books, fine, but stop bashing something that you know nothing about. Clearly, the tastes of people on this site is piss poor.

Wow tea this is the longest I have seen you gone without posting boobs? You alright dude?

Havn't heard of this book series before, but from what they have shown, it looks like a Battle Royale inspired piece that could probs work, Woody Harrelson is in it so probs with an aquisition from the internet.

I'm sorry, but, I just can't get into wanting to see this film. I read the books a while ago and kinda just forgot about them. The way the Collins writes Katniss's POV is like listening to someone list their daily chores in your head.

Every paragraph is a summary. No real detail.

I don't know...it obviously appeals to SOMEONE. And though I found the series dull and somewhat asinine, it's nothing like the mass murder that is the Twilight series.

The Book is amazing!! I dont know maybe because it might be too advanced for all you idiots. This is the first book i have picked up with my own will and read in like 10yrs, I bought it last week and I'm already on the third book.

@tea This site is populate by trolls and try-hards acting as if their opinions have any weight. Yours included. I do not take that away from you. I am curious though how any of you can defend your statements of "this is gay" or "stupid book by a wannabe writer bitch just got lucky" when you have not read the books and have absolutely no idea what the story is about. I am not thin-skinned. I am tired of reading ignorant comments from ignorant people.

Hawkeye the movie (except with no trick arrows, taking place in some dystopian future, and he is fighting other archers instead of supervillains like the Masters of Evil . . . oh, did I mention it is Kate Bishop instead of Clint Barton).

Wow, I just summed up the movie in one sentense. Maybe I should try it for all the other upcoming movies:

- The Dark Knight Rise: or Knightfall Abriged (no buffed up a Bane mixed with smart Bane, no 90s anti-hero Batman and no third other thing.)

- The Avengers: or Jizzmatic 9000 (comic book fanboys and fangirls are seriously going to cum the moment they watch the beginning of the movie, sucks to be the guy who cleans up the theater).

- Snow White and the Huntsman: or When Bella Meets Thor (I honestly didn't really see the movie of which I am referencing in this joke).

- The Hobbit: or It Is About Time the Movie (really, it took this long just to released the prequel to the Lord of the [frick]ing Rings?).

- The Man of Steel: or Hopefully The Best Successor To Christopher Reeves Superman (seriously, it took this long and many actors to find the perfect successor to Reeve's Superman?).

-X-Men First Class 2: or Better Have Sentinals The Movie (I mean it Vaugn, you better have the balls to actually show these [frick]ing robots in your movie).

- Transformers 4: or Michael Bay Still Getting Work!?! (bet 25 bucks this movie will suck).

@yeoldeemoney

Problem with your last statement there, bro; Teabag never mentioned anything about how "bad" the book is. All he said is that he isn't interested in the movie of the book.

Way to not interpret his (comedic) comments.

It has just been cut by 7 seconds getting rid of overly bloody shot to make it a 12A in the UK rather than a 15.

Its 142m 18s long

and contains "intense threat, moderate violence and occasional gory moments".

doesnt sound half bad to me.

@fort True! J-Law is amazing. so talented, I feel people don't giver her acting the credit it deserves.

The poster looks great, so intense, in-fact, all of the posters have been pretty damn good.

(: yeaah new hair! haha

@CherryBomb

No doubt, people need to watch winter's bone and get they sh*t in order. =]

I defnatly liking the style in general, even the weird beards lol.

the cinematographer is a beast, has done most of clint eastwoods directorial stuff. arguably looks alot more cinematic than avengers, though im sure that fact would piss alot of people off.

and with the new hair perhaps you should be called "cherrybob" (awful hair based joke that probably isnt even accurate) looks good =]
