ETERNALS Behind-The-Scenes Photos Suggest That Harry Styles' Eros Originally Had A Larger Role

Eternals star Lia McHugh (Sprite) has shared some new behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, and one of 'em suggests that Harry Styles originally appeared in more than just one scene as Eros.

One of Eternals' post-credits scenes featured the MCU debut of Harry Styles (Dunkirk) as Eros, aka Starfox, but it looks like the character originally had a slightly larger role in the movie.

Actress Lia McHugh (Sprite) has taken to Instagram to share some new behind-the-scenes photos from her time working on Chloe Zhao's superhero epic, and one of them features Styles alongside her and Richard Madden (Ikaris).

In this shot, the pop star turned actor is wearing a similar outfit to the other Eternals when we first meet them on the Domo, which obviously suggests that the brother of Thanos was going to be part of that opening scene. The idea must have been scrapped pretty early on, though, as the stinger was clearly supposed to serve as Starfox's introduction.

Marvel Studios’ Eternals follows a group of heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

The outstanding ensemble cast includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
