Hyped for AX, though the weather is likely going to be as horrendous as last year.

With Crunchroll's lineup, it looks like they're taking the content they were planning for Crunchyroll Expo (which is now cancelled) and made their own mini con at AX.

Everyone Hollywood writer needs to attend the discussion on storytelling. They can learn from the amazing work done in anime today.

I wasn't a big anime guy for a long time. I mean, I watched a lot of the big ones that came to the states like Dragon Ball, Digimon, Pokemon, etc. And then I watched (and loved) Death Note in high school. But I never went too far into the weeds with it. I did catch Gantz when I was younger and had a weird fascination with it, but not much else.

However, I recently caught the bug. Watched Tokyo Ghoul and loved it, then I watched Demon Slayer, and now I'm pretty heavily into My Hero Academia (seriously some of the best characterization I've ever encountered in any medium).

I don't know what my resistance was to a lot of it, but holy hell is it better writing than anything coming out of Hollywood. I didn't realize how starved I was for great storytelling. I think I forgot what it was.

I don’t understand how we’re not getting Dragon Ball content on the regular. Dragon Ball is like the Marvel of anime. How are they not capitalizing on the fanfare and popularity.

@Origame - too much time in between content. Takes forever for them to release anything.

Bucket List of the Dead starts July. That's really the only cartoon I'm interested in for the foreseeable future.
