Fairy Tail Anime to resume in April

Manga creator teased earlier in 2013 to "stay tune" for good news regarding the continuation of the Fairy Tail anime and director Shinji Ishihira has delivered just that. A-1 Pictures are returning for animation duties but they'll be sharing the load with "Bridge" instead of previous collaborator, Satelight. The original voice actors are all expected to return as well.

Completely different than One Piece. So I guess you think all manga is the same based off popular art style? It's Shonen so of course it will have things in common. One Pieces creator Eiichiro Oda has been well known for ripping off artwork and characters from other series. Manga artist almost always inspire from an artist or character they like and spin off to create something their own or homage too. Its not uncommon at all. Natsu is basically Goku but in a magic setting and the same can be said about Luffy in a pirate setting.

Technically Lucy is the main character. Also, Fairy Tail is nothing like One Piece. I think Fairy Tail has very different arc structure and a variety of more intreresting characters. In OP I only find myself really liking the Straw Hats, but in FT I like characters like Gildarts, Luxus, Juvia, Gajeel and Panther Lily among others that are not considered on the "main team". And this is coming from someone obsessed with One Piece since the 4th grade.

On another note, glad it's back.

All of these popular mangas: One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and Fairy Tail all are DBZ inspired in almost every way. Doesn't mean they are bad, but you should all know where the credit is due. Naruto, Luffy, Ichigo and Natsu are practically 4 representations of Goku.

I saw maybe the first seven episodes on netflix and I loved it. Then it did what all anime's do, and they spend five episodes on a single fight while they openly discuss their battle tactics and backstories. Needless to say, I dropped it.
