Dragon Ball Project Age 2011 will have faithful manga-style graphics, totally destructible battle fields, and refined controls designed to bring the experience closer to the highly acclaimed previous series, the Budokai Tenkaichi series.
Great Apes has also been confirmed as playable characters in the latest scan from Shonen Jump. Only Great Ape Vegeta however was confirmed so far. The size of the Great Apes are also true to the anime and manga, unlike the reduced size in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. Namco Bandai released a survey to the public to rate Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and the confirmed name of Dragon Ball: Game Project Age 2011 is "Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.
Namco Bandai Europe has announced the game for release in European countries during Q3/Q4 2011
