Considered the world's greatest thief, Lupin III, travels the globe, stealing priceless objects and announcing his intentions via calling card before pulling off the heist. Not a bad premise.

That japanese Jazz Funk theme music from the classic cartoon was always catchy to me.

Looks cool. Loved the anime when I was younger. Funny though, watching this trailer made me realize I always thought of Lupin as some swarthy Italian guy.

I'm probably one of the biggest Lupin the 3rd fans irl, and I have to say that this is shaping up to be a great adaptation of the epic series I grew up watching on Toonami and Adult Swim. And I'm glad to see they aren't shying away from Goemon's Smaurainess, despite some concerning comments made earlier by someone close to the production.

This effort is certainly way better compared to it's predecessor from the 70's they currently have streaming on Youtube.

I think the Ruroni Kenshin live action has shown Japan just what you can do if you stick to the Source material.

Now lets hope they actually adapt Hiroshi Takashi's Crows or Worst manga series for live action someday, and I don't mean more Crows Zero prequels.

everybody looking pretty good except for fujiko.
sad that this came so late because to me the perfect fujiko always was a young fujiwara norika.
that woman was a real japanese bombshell when she was younger.

You can tell this movie isn't finished because they haven't CGI her boobs in.

@ Nomis

The character is Lupin III in the same way that JFK jr is a jr. His grand father was Lupin. His father was Lupin the Second and he is Lupin the Third. I used to love watching that anime on classic cartoon network Adult Swim.

@ryner

kuroki meisa is hot a hell too though!!!
and she sings aswell!

i just think norika had a more adult sexiness even when she was younger.
meisa looks like a girl dressed up as fujiko.
still is not a bad choice at all.

Excited for this. Japan needs to do more anime adaptations, including an Akira and possibly a Cowboy Bebop film.
