Even if you're not a big Anime/Manga fan, chances are you have heard of Ghost In The Shell. Personally I think there's only a handful of really great ones, and this (at least the original one anyway) is one of them. Now fans can look forward to a brand new series called Ghost In The Shell: Arise sometime in 2013. Details are minimal, but according to Twitch, Kise Kazuchika (Blood: The Last Vampire, Dennou Coil, Neon Genesis Evangelion and of course the previous Ghost In The Shell) will direct with Ubukata Tow on board as writer. It is not know how - or if - this will tie in with the original Manga by Shirow Masamune.
