The English voice cast is set for the dub of Hayao Miyazaki's final anime feature film, The Wind Rises. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Don Jon, Looper) will play the main protagonist Jiro Horikoshi. Emily Blunt (Looper, Edge of Tommorow) plays Jiro's love interest, Nahoko Satomi. John Krasinski (The Office, Monsters University) voices Honjo. Martin Short (Frankenweenie) plays Jiro's boss, Kurokawa. Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Captain America: The First Avenger) voices Caproni. Mandy Patinkin (Homeland) plays Hattori. William H. Macy (Shameless) plays Satomi's father. Werner Herzog (Jack Reacher) provides the voice for Castorp. Mae Whitman (Parenthood, Young Justice) voices two characters, Jiro's younger sister as well as Kinu. Jennifer Grey(Dirty Dancing, Ferris Bueller's Day Off) plays Mrs. Kurokawa. Darren Criss (Glee) voices Katayama. Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the Kings, Tron: Uprising) plays Sone. And lastly, Ronan Farrow (son of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen) voices a Mitsubishi employee. Disney has set a wide release for the film in February.
