A few years back, a small fan company known as Zelda Motion created a small teaser clip to bring Akira Himekawa’s manga adaptation of A Link to the Past to life (known in Japan as Triforce of the Gods). And now they are ready to bring a full web series dedicated to this game and manga using famous voice actors such as Vic Mignogna (Dragonball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist dubs) and will feature a full blown musical score and animation. Here a quote from Zelda Motion:

“Officially, Zeldamotion is a project run by Aeipathy Industries. Mike Patch (Mechawatts) has started this on his own and will finish it on his own. The incredible voice acting cast featuring Todd Haberkorn (Allen Walker, from D- Grayman) , Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric, from Full Metal Alchemist), Kent Williams (Father, from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood) and Kira Buckland (Princess and Medusa, from Castle Crashers), has already recorded their roles and is being synced up to the animations.

The new trailer will be available within the next couple of weeks, to go along with the Kickstarter to help funding this and future episodes. I will finish the project with or without the Kickstarter or other funding. Kickstarter or other funding will just make it happen sooner, and enable future episodes to be done in a fraction of the time.”

The trailer for this project will be revealed early next month and if you are curious about the teaser they released a few years ago, here it is below. But note that the final product won't be like this as it will be in full animation and have voice actors.

Would it be possible when reporting on unauthorized or fan produced projects to identify them as so in the headline of the article?

They need to get a damn live action Zelda movie in the works. I've been a fan of the series since the original. Ironically the only one I never played was a link to the past, lol. Well that and all the gameboy ones.

The mangas are good, quick reads but good and follow the games. Check them out if your a fan of the series. You can pick them up pretty cheap off of ebay and amazon.

I wish we would get an animated Zelda. This is a MOTION COMIC. Not animation, but if this is what gets the ball rolling for an anime than cool. Motion comics are weak, cheap, and lame for the most part.

A live action would be the worst movie EVER. This is a property that has kept, for the most part, the SAME look for 20 years. It wont translate and it would look really really lame. Animation is the best way.
