ONE-PUNCH MAN Anime Announced

The popular manga, One-Punch Man from ONE and Yuusuke Murata is receiving an anime adaptation according to the latest news from Japan. Read on for details on this awesome series.

Imagine a superhero who trained so hard his hair fell out and is so powerful, it only takes one punch to defeat his adversaries.  Life would become pretty boring, pretty quickly, right?   That's the basis of One-Punch Man, a Japanese webcomic originally created in 2009 by a manga artist going by the  pseudonym ONE.  In 2012, a stylized remake from Yuusuke Murata began publication in Jump Web Comics.  An English version is printed in the digital magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump.   Anime fans are already speculating upon which anime studio will be handling production.  Further details on the project will be released on Tuesday in  Shueisha's Young Jump magazine.

The mention of Guyver at all brings me so much joy.

WOOOOOOO! Love this book. He is so derpy and I love how he is simple but the most BA guy. This book is so funny though, I hope they bring that comedy over in the show. Yeah, there are hardcore fight scenes but then there are times when he just plucks the hair off the seaweed guy, or when the king of the sea looks like a idiot. This is happy news!

From the description this sounds like a weak idea for a movie or an anime, have'nt seen the anime but i'm not sure what one could do when the premise is that you have a practically invincible hero that suffers Spider-man syndrome where others dont appreciate him.

Its kinda taking out the whole idea of suspense if your character is literally the strongest their is and the whole idea is essentially him being bored searching for fights that will take more than one punch...
