Yep you herd right Trunks becomes a Super Saiyan 3 for the first time in the Japanese Arcade video game Dragon Ball Heroes, witch is soon to get its own Manga then anime vary soon!

In March 2011, a Super Saiyan 3 version of Future Trunks was announced in the arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes. Very little is known about Trunks' transformation at the moment. Vegeta also has a SS3 form in this game.



Bardock will also be in this video game as a Super Saiyan and he will also be getting his own what if story Movie in August 2011.

this game has been out since January just an FYI and there is no announcement of an Anime of DB Heroes. there is going to be an Anime of DB SD which is a Manga that is just a retelling of Goku's story from DragonBall but due to the fact that DB Heroes is getting a Manga expect an Anime in the next year or two. but as things stand now there is no Anime for Heroes.

Dragon Ball Kai(Z) still airs in my country,but now they have shitty voices and not the original ones.they couldn't get the original voice actor for Goku,I guess he was too busy voicing Ant-Man (that's right,the latin american dub of Avengers EMH has Goku voicing Ant-Man :P)

This is actually a few months old, and I don't even get entirely, what this game is referencing.. Kinda confusing, but good point, chief.

@Spidey: Sean Schemmel was the voice actor of Goku for The Frieza Saga, Cell Saga and the Buu saga. He returned to for DBKai, the only people who didn't return are the voice actresses for Bulma and Gohan. All the other voice actors that were there at the end of the show returned.

Trunks looks cooler than Goku when he's in SS3, I could just imagine how Vegeta looks.

If this is going to get it's own manga will it also be a "What If" type of thing too? Because that stuff was kind of confusing when you try and put it together with DBZ the cartoon. I'm assuming that stuff was all taking place in Future Trunks's universe.

Can't wait to see the "What if Bardock were a Super Sayain!" That would be so cool. He was always one of my favorite characters.

Very cool, but very confusing.........I love DBZ though so im in. I wish we could get some new stories with new sayains. You know they sent hundreds of babies into space to take planets, why not have another sayain story that takes place on another planet with an all new cast.

f that. if anyone one should go super sayian 3 it should be vegeta and gohan since goku can already do that. the only reason gohan wouldnt be able to is because of when the elder kai unlocked all his potential or "mystic gohan" which is just him having all his power unlocked which is just as strong as ssj3 maybe even stronger, and that is too much power for his body
