First Official Photo From Netflix's DEATH NOTE Shows Light Turner Meeting With The Mysterious "L"

We got our first look at Netflix's Death Note earlier this week, and now a new photo from the series shows the first meeting between Light and his future nemesis, the enigmatic detective "L".

We got our first teaser for Netflix's adaptation of Death Note on Wednesday, and now the streaming service has released the first official photo from the film, showing a meeting between series protagonist Light Turner (Nat Wolff) and the mysterious detective known only as “L” (Keith Stansfield).

Fans of the series may be happy to see that the film will seemingly be preserving L's eccentric quirks and personality, with the photo showing him perched on his chair in the same manner as his anime counterpart. The detective was also glimpsed briefly in the trailer, though his face was covered by his hoodie.

Are you looking forward to the film? Let us know in the comments. Death Note launches on Netflix on August 25, 2017.
