Earlier this week, the first wave of Funko Pops for Avengers: Doomsday revealed "Lord Doom." He appears to be Earth-828's Victor Von Doom, either from before his villainous turn or in the ceremonial armour he wears while presenting himself to the world outside Latveria.
There's clearly more to the MCU's Doctor Doom than we've seen in trailers, and a supposed leaked image may reveal a shot of Lord Doom from the movie itself.
Like previous leaks, it appears to have been AI-enhanced. It's obviously a little curious that this has only surfaced after the Funko Pop, so we'd suggest taking the image with a hefty pinch of salt for now.
In other Avengers: Doomsday news, a first look at some of the theater merchandise that will be available later this year has also hit social media. Unsurprisingly, the spotlight is on Doom, with his head making for a suitably impressive popcorn bucket.
This likely only scratches the surface of what's to come. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, for example, had several different popcorn buckets and cups. Hopefully, more reveals will follow in the coming weeks.
Finally, Entertainment Tonight recently caught up with WandaVision and The Marvels star Teyonah Parris and asked if she'll reprise her role as Monica Rambeau in Avengers: Doomsday.
When we last saw the hero, she'd been left stranded on Earth-10005, the home of the X-Men. "You can expect what you want," the actress said of her potential MCU return. "It’s ultimately not up to me where Monica shows up. I would love to continue to tell her story."
You can hear more from the actress in the player below.
