Avengers: Doomsday MLB Teaser Features Earth-828's Fantastic Four And New Avengers Tower Scenes

The new Avengers: Doomsday promo features fresh footage of the Fantastic Four, Steve Rogers, Thor, and Ant-Man, while an insider teases the next trailer's expected release date.

As promised, a new look at Avengers: Doomsday was released during tonight's World Series Game 1. This isn't the extended clip that some claimed would debut; instead, it's a pretty standard promo with new scenes that are spliced with footage of real baseball players.

In terms of new footage, we return to Earth-828, where the Fantastic Four are attending a baseball game. Reed Richards is pitching, and Johnny Storm is up to bat; The Thing is also on hand, seemingly confirming rumours that these scenes take place when Doctor Doom arrives at the Baxter Building and confronts Sue Storm.

There's a fun moment between Steve Rogers and Thor where the former asks whether him wielding Mjolnir bothers the God of Thunder (spoiler alert: it does). We get a second comedic scene set in Avengers Tower, with Ant-Man getting confused over who to call "Cap": Steve or Sam Wilson.

It's a fun promo aimed at the general audience, not necessarily hardcore fans who are buying a ticket, regardless. Still, there are some intriguing teases for what's to come, and a little levity is welcome after those far more serious trailers.

According to insider @Cryptic4KQual, "There are some more concession reveals next week, promo releasing Diwali week, then I heard the trailer should be expected mid-November. We should also get an exclusive look on Disney+ next month."

Check out this new look at Avengers: Doomsday in the player below.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, along with X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden, plus Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron has also been enlisted to refine the story, alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

That ad was a swing and a miss for me.

It's hard to explain just how I am still looking forward to this while simultaneously having basically zero hype for this.

@TheAmericanHero - Help me understand how you can look forward to something but have no hype for it?

To me, the core ingredient of looking forward to something is hype. It's what fuels the thing that you're looking forward to.

TheAmericanHero - 10/23/2026, 11:43 PM
@Kadara - you can look forward to something for many reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with hype. You are either being purposefully obtuse or you just lack basic reading comprehension. You can be looking forward to meeting up with your friends without being hyped for it. Hyped is a specific reaction, which can corelate with looking forward to something but isn't a requirement. I literally said I'm looking forward to it, but you can try to twist my words all you like.

So, politely, va te faire foutre

The scenes of the F4 at a baseball game really adds in making one feel immersed and part of their world even if we’ve only been with them on their Earth for one movie.

So that is why Susan was all alone in the post credit scene with Franklin before Doom showed up at the Baxter Building: Reed, Ben and Johnny (most likely) were there doing that social activity. It checks out.

I wish we would get to see more of Earth 828 which we might with Latveria in this since Secret Wars will likely be on Battleworld and then the FF will be integrated into Earth 616 so this might be our last chance to do so!!.

Same footage from months ago and some of the worst acting since NBA 2K15.

WTF is Marvel doing?! The film won't even be finished on time at this point.

It’s a promotional tie in ad for the general audience , it’s kinda what I expected tbh given prior history.

I didn’t care for all the stuff with the players since I’m not a baseball fan but the new bits of footage we got were fun…

Some feel like the moment of Scott calling Steve “Cap” accidentally is disrespectful of Sam even if it’s meant as a joke but this is the same Scott Lang who was practically fanboying over Steve in CW & EG so makes sense that he might still call him Cap as just a force of habit or slip of the tongue.

I still do hope we get this moment in the film though as just an acknowledgment from Steve about Sam being Captain America now…

Anyway , i expect a final trailer in the coming weeks aswell as perhaps a featurette (which could be the exclusive D+ look) but I hope we get the the level of restraint they have shown thus far in terms of footage till the film comes out!!.

I spent my time seeing Clayface again. This was cringe af. Hopefully Doomsday is good but Icarus is getting pretty close to the sun.
More good news! Clayface received an A- Cinemascore! Same as Obsession and better than Resident Evil. Time to move the goalposts again lol
