Avengers: Doomsday Promo Art Reveals Epic MCU Team-ups And A First Look At Doctor Doom's "Doom Guard"

New Avengers: Doomsday promo art showcases some exciting MCU team-ups, including Sue Storm and Namor heading underwater and Mister Fantastic fighting alongside the X-Men's Beast.

Avengers: Doomsday will bring the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four together on screen for the first time. That's bound to lead to some exciting team-ups, a few of which are showcased in this new Marvel Snap promo art.

As cool as it is to see Shang-Chi and Gambit or Mister Fantastic and Beast fighting side-by-side, Sue Storm being paired up with Namor is particularly interesting given their complicated comic book history.

On the page, Namor has long had a romantic interest in the Fantastic Four's most powerful member. While the Invisible Woman has obviously remained loyal to her husband, Reed Richards, she has occasionally had her head turned by the King of Talokan's affections.

This newly released promo art also showcases Doctor Doom and a Latverian Witch. The latter uses a similar style of magic to Victor Von Doom, which raises even more big questions about what role that trio—and Boris—will play in Avengers: Doomsday. We also meet the mysterious "Doom Guard," who looks a lot to us like the potential leader of the Doombots.

They're clearly Doom's closest allies, though Avengers Endgame: Encore's post-credits scene suggested he'll force The Hulk to serve him.

Last year, Tenoch Huerta was asked about Namor's dynamic with Sue in Avengers: Doomsday, and danced around the question: "Well, I really like [Pedro] Pascal," he said, trailing off with a laugh.

Adding that it was "surprising" and "cool," he said the dynamic on set has been very different to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where Huerta was the movie's main antagonist. "There are twenty-something characters involved in the story. Which means we are each going to have smaller roles because there needs to be space for all the characters and all the universes."

Huerta later described his return as Namor in Avengers: Doomsday as "simpler" in both "terms of time and energy," and described Vanessa Kirby as a "great and spectacular coworker."

Check out this new look at Avengers: Doomsday in the X posts below, along with the full Jeep tie-in commercial.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, joined by X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden, plus Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron has also been enlisted to refine the story, alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.
