UPDATE: Avengers: Doomsday's promotional tie-ins are beginning in the UK, and with that comes some new artwork (at last) of Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom.

It looks a lot like Adi Granov artwork that's been repurposed for promo purposes and features the final design for Doom's mask. Many early pieces—and even some toys—have featured an outdated version, and we'll likely see a lot more of this version in the coming months.

20th Century Fox's X-Men will return to the big screen in this December's Avengers: Doomsday, and while characters like Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, and Gambit have been heavily featured in trailers, we've seen very little of Beast.

That's likely down to the huge amount of VFX work needed to bring the blue-furred mutant to life. However, his role in the movie may be more closely tied to whatever is going on with Monica Rambeau rather than the fight with the Sentinels.

We'll have to wait and see, but some newly revealed promo art finally offers a closer look at Beast, along with The Thing, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Captain America.

In related news, Spider-Man: No Way Home star Andrew Garfield has once again been asked about the possibility of returning as Peter Parker in Avengers: Doomsday

After initially denying that he'll appear in the movie—which is rumoured to feature Tobey Maguire, but not Garfield or Tom Holland—the actor cheekily said that fans will find out "one way or the other." While he's playing coy now, the actor is expected to return in Avengers: Secret Wars for a Spider-Men reunion.

That will likely be his final send-off, as there's been nothing to suggest that Sony Pictures has any intention of resurrecting The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Instead, the studio will continue to focus on Holland's MCU-set adventures.

Check out this new Avengers: Doomsday promo art and Garfield's comments in the X posts below.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, as do X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, with Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

Time for him to go after SW. He was a bad Peter Parker, and the ASM movies were terrible.
