@Saga - People care. It's always exciting to see a new champion rise. Relax and enjoy the ride!

@Saga - Um well...pretty much all of us care. It's not pointless when a movie we all love has a chance to beat the reigning champ of over a decade. We're fans of the franchise, how does it not make sense to you that we want our movie as the top dawg and to make history?...

@Tonic24k - our movie. How much of a cut do you make? I work with people younger than me, they all quote the financials before given their personal opinion. "Did you enjoy it?" "It made over 2 billion" "but did you enjoy it" "Its like smashed records everywhere and better than any of that DCEU shite" "BUT DID YOU ENJOY IT" "MARVEL RULZ"

@Saga - Um, quite a lot of people care.

Especially when this time a really GREAT film has a chance of becoming the No.1 worldwide.

@ScRipt69 - "Our movie" means the movie we are all behind. We support it. You don't have to make money off something to be a part of it. As for the rest of your jibber jabber. That's not an argument that applies universally; what these kids say is how they want to pose their perspective whether it has any merit or not. But I can tell you this. That $2B is a pretty good indication people enjoyed the fvcking movie. OF COURSE WE ENJOYED THE MOVIE.

Good try, but your remarks fall flat.

I doubt it’ll make it. Unless they release some super duper cut in October to add on some more money. Of course if Disney did that then they can also just turnaround and re-release Avatar again to retake the top spot.

@TheUnworthyThor - I mean Avatar has that money from a rerelease so it's fair game.

@TheUnworthyThor - Black Widow starts filming in June. I wonder if come July they put a little snippet together to add to post credits to get people back in theaters.

Not impossible. Guardians brought footage to Comic Con after only 2 weeks of filming.

@Tonic24k - yeah. I mean obviously had already beat Titanic in it's initial release but the number that Avengers is trying to beat is the result of a rerelease that Avatar had.
