Gameloft announced earlier this month that they'd been given licences for multiple major titles, including this year's most anticipated comic book movies, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises and Marvel's The Avengers flick. And now the first screenshots and details from the latter have been officially released, showcasing what'll likely be the most direct tie-in game based on the movie.
With the help of alien invaders, Loki seeks to conquer Earth. But first he must divide and conquer the only ones that can stop him: The Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D.. Play as the Avengers - Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man or Thor - and fight against Loki and his alien allies as they seek to conquer Earth. The previous press release stated that some, if not all of the titles are expected to be released on smartphones, feature phones, and tablets, including the Kindle Fire. All of them will come with in-app purchases.
