ugur90, there's a difference between "good" and "perfect." He did say that he thought Hawkeye was underutilized. Other reviews I've read have all said the movie was good, but each one had different nitpicks that prevented them from giving the movie a perfect score.

Let's not forget the fact that it was IGN that gave Ghost Rider 2 (arguably the worst comic book movie ever made) 4/5 stars...Even if IGN were to give The Avengers 100 out of 5 stars, I still wouldn't get excited.

Kind of a shame about Hawkeye, but when you have to give time to Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Cap, it's understandable that a lesser known character like Hawkeye wouldn't get much of a story and I think we all expected it more or less. Although I haven't seen Avengers yet, I imagine that Hawkeye's role will be somewhat like Legolas in LOTR. They had to spend time with Frodo, Sam, Aragorn, and Gandalf taking center stage so Legolas was pretty much just that guy who did some cool action stuff. Even without much development, people still think he's pretty cool. I'm hoping they'll accomplish that somewhat for Hawkeye, although he'll have a much harder time impressing people with the characters he's surrounded by.
