Ms. Marvel has been rumored to be one of the new characters introduced by Joss Whedon to his Avengers sequel for a while now, but the recent news that he's settled on Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch might have put the kibosh on that -- although there's nothing to say that there won't be more than 2 new characters of course. Katee Sackhoff (BSG/Riddick, and former co-host on the Schmoes Know Podcast) is a big comic book fan and has been rumored for a couple of roles in other movies in the past, so when a fan asked if she'd be interested in the Ms. Marvel role on Twitter, she responded with a "Hell yes".
