At the premiere of "Clash of the Titans", MTV caught up with director, Louis Lettier, again. And whats talking to Louis without Marvel coming up. Well to, this is by far the best chat with him.

"While I was on 'Clash' we were talking about 'Thor,' we were talking about who would be cast in 'Captain America,' I was suggesting names," he said. "That's the kind of stuff Marvel is good about. It's a very — like you say, geek-friendly — but also a very family-friendly operation."

Jebus. Somebody get this guy a job at Marvel so he'll have a fkn reason to talk about all these projects. Every damn day there's a new Louie article up here. The guy has more to say about Marvel than Stan Lee!

@Shaman & Billy- it seems that he and Worthington have a contest as to who can kiss more Marvel ass. Leterrier is winning.
Shaman
Shaman - 4/1/2010, 1:36 PM
ecks- That's just cause no one cares about what Worthington has to say. He's probably banging down media doors to get interviews as we type LOL :P

I'll wait until I see Clash of the Titans next week before I decide whether or not he's the right guy to direct The Avengers! :P

i dont think hes the right guy for it. i mean i loved the incredible hulk, but the movies he directs lacks character depth, well thought out story, and characters you can really connect with. all hes really good at as i see it is action, which kinda scares me cuz he might inevitably make avengers the next revenge of the fallen (michael bay sucks, no offense) if hes chosen

They should really give the job to him.

i really like the guy. He comes across as a true fan of the genre. if favreu can't, then give it to him.

@Shaman- He is asked how he feels about Evans being cast as Cap and he says it's a great choice...to be specific he says

"I think he was great in Fantastic Four, AMAZING in Sunshine, I hear great things about the Losers. I think it's a great choice but yeah it's not so much HIM, it's what will he look like in the costume, that's what I want to know...[laughs]"

There are better choices to direct Avengers, as I've been saying all along.

his action sequences rock. even if it turns out as another rotf, it'll still be entertaining. i'm actually more partial to joss whedon. that man is a genius? has anyone ever read his comics? it fricken rocks! jj abrams is my second choice.

@Hawksblueyes YOU SO ROCK!!! that is exactly what i am thinking!!!

i do love whedon though, but i feel it may be too heavy a project for him. he tends to do adventure-lite, like serenity. but abrams can give it weight, and balance and ensemble.

ecks & shaman

It's Leterrier by a land slide! If Clash winds up sucking, we'll know it was because Leterrier and Worthington spent the whole fkn shoot talking about Marvel movies! HAHAhAHAHahH How bout spending a day discussing your OWN FKN MOVIE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

Joob234

That's the unequivocal truth ruth.
