Marvel Studios' Tentative Phase 5, 6, AND 7 Slates Possibly Revealed - And There Are More AVENGERS Movies!

A new rumor supposedly sheds some light on Marvel Studios' future plans, including more Avengers movies, heaps of Special Presentations, and characters we didn't expect to see step into the spotlight...

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the MCU's future, though a fair bit of trepidation too. With Marvel Studios now able to tell stories on the big and small screens, this shared world is expanding faster than even the most hardcore of fans can keep up with, with more big changes said to be on the horizon.

It appears the Multiverse Saga is being extended, with a new post shared on r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers by the page's moderators (which has been the source of a great deal of accurate information over the years) shedding some light on that.

Aware that Phase 4 had something of a quantity-over-quality issue, Marvel Studios is reportedly looking to create bigger gaps between movies and TV shows, thereby reducing the number of titles released each year. With that comes a tentative slate which includes some big surprises.

In 2023, Phase 5 may now consists of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumainia, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Secret Invasion (ETA May 17 - June 21 2023), Loki season 2 (ETA July 26 - August 30 2023), Echo (ETA October 2023), Mephisto (Special Presentation, ETA Halloween 2023), The Marvels, and Sentry (Special Presentation, ETA Holidays 2023).

In 2024, there's Ironheart (ETA Early 2024) Daredevil: Born Again (ETA Spring 2024), Captain America: New World Order, I Am Groot (ETA Mid-2024), Thunderbolts, Deadpool 3 (ETA September 6 2024), Wonder Man (ETA Fall 2024), and Man-Thing (Special Presentation, Halloween 2024).

As for Phase 6, we have Blade (ETA November 8 2024), Silver Surfer (Special Presentation, ETA Holiday 2024), Agatha: Coven of Chaos (ETA Late 2024/Early 2025), Fantastic Four, Vision Quest (ETA Spring 2025), Armor Wars (ETA May 2 2025), What If...? Season 2 (ETA Mid 2025), Young Avengers (ETA July 25 2025), Midnight Angels (TV Series, ETA Fall 2025) Ghost Rider (Special Presentation, ETA Halloween 2025), and Zombies (ETA October 2025).

As we head deeper into 2025, it's said we should expect Shang-Chi 2 (ETA November 7 2025), Nova (Special Presentation, ETA Holiday 2025), Spider-Man 4 (ETA December 19 2025), Strange Academy (TV Series, ETA Late 2025/Early 2026), Doctor Strange 3 (ETA February 13 2026) Ms. Marvel season 2 (ETA  Spring 2026), and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (ETA May 1 2026).

Phase 7 is said to be part of the "Battleworld Saga," though it's unclear whether this means all the movies will take part in a new, temporary reality.

Regardless, this slate supposedly includes Moon Knight Season 2 (ETA Mid-2026), Midnight Suns (ETA July 24 2026), She-Hulk season 2 (ETA Fall 2026), an Untitled Halloween Special, World War Hulk (ETA November 6 2026), an Untitled Holiday Special, What If...? Season 3 (ETA Early 2027), Eternals 2 (ETA February 12 2027), Illuminati (TV Show, ETA Spring 2027), and Avengers: Secret Wars (ETA May 7th 2027/2028).

Avengers: Forever may also be released in 2027/2028, ending this period of storytelling and serving as a final farewell to the main Infinity Saga characters. Projects revolving around the Scarlet Witch, Namor, Monica Rambeau, and Deadpool are rumoured to be among the ideas being thrown around, but we're taking all of this with a pinch of salt for now.

The breakdown also mentions a Nomad TV series starring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannson and while the page's mods tend to vet their sources, this all feels a little too good to be true right now.

As always, we'll have to wait and see but there's plenty to discuss here!

@rychlec - I'd be happy with Man-Thing, Ghost Rider and Mephisto.
