New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Set Photos Surface From The Funeral Shoot
While Chris Evans & Emily VanCamp may have been spotted from afar taking part in a funeral scene in Captain America: Civil War, a set video may tease Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther. Check it out
After transforming different parts of Atlanta into Africa and Europe, Captain America: Civil War has now utilized a nearby church for scenes involving a funeral. There's no word on who will kick the bucket in the highly-anticipated Marvel sequel, but the scene is said to also take place in London. And thanks to Lorenfay, Corey Tatum, and Jennifer Brett, we have some photos that feature several extras all dressed for the occasion, as well as a supposed first look at Chris Evans (Steve Rogers) and Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) from afar. Instant speculation would suggest that the funeral is for Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, who we know is elderly and suffering from alzheimer's.
Only time (and maybe better set photos) will tell who the funeral is actually for and also who else is in attendance. Nonetheless, we also have a quick Captain America: Civil War set video that shows two stuntmen rehearsing a fight scene. Judging by the fight move and his stance, as well as the filming location which appears to the African villain seen yesterday, the stuntman with the upper hand is likely doubling for Chadwick Boseman (T'Challa) aka the Black Panther. What do you think?
Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.
