They dropped Banner. One would hope that they would only do that and put Hulk in his place, Not Black Widow. I like her, but- we need some Hulk.

CoughCough - 1/23/2012, 3:17 AM
why is iron man's armor looks different each time I see it............ I think they are consistently changing the CGI for it.

nice

They really think their going to miss out on the horny teen audience if they don't show Black Widow.
WonderMoose
WonderMoose - 1/23/2012, 3:23 AM
Thor looked better in his own movie. His facial hair looks like a week of stubble here rather than intentional growth. And I think they made his hair blonder which it didn't need to be.
Ace101
Ace101 - 1/23/2012, 3:30 AM
@CoughCough that armour looks a little hulkbuster-ish doesnt it?
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 1/23/2012, 3:32 AM
@WonderMoose THOR is blonde. He could stand to go even blonder if they wanted to.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 1/23/2012, 3:33 AM
@teabag I thought about that the moment I typed it.

Correction: They really think their going to miss out on the horny dudes audience if they don't show Black Widow.

That's iron man's armour from the first movie, I wish they'd make up they're mind on what exactly he's going to be wearing

OUGHTA GIVE BLACK WIDOW HER OWN MOVIE..A SPY MOVIE WITH A SEXY WOMAN LIKE HER I'LL BUY A TICKET.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 1/23/2012, 4:04 AM
@teabag I was generous enough with the first correction. The horn-dog audience that will see Trandformers for Megan Fox, Avengers for Black Widow, Fantastic Four for Jessica Alba, Pirates for Kiera Knightly and Misery for Kathy Bates, are clearly oblivious that porn is free.

As a result, we get promos where the T&A of the movie is portrayed as the star of the film. Remember this shit? The movie was called King [frick]ing Arthur!!! Either he's an A-Cup or this is the Arthur version of finding Waldo.

NeoBaggins - 1/23/2012, 4:13 AM
@ckal Massive hypocrite? Strange that you're taking this so seriously. But tell me, why would it be different for Catwoman? I mean, it's already obvious that TDKR is not using this type of marketing. We have yet to see Catwoman heavily promoted. But I'm curious; why did you even bring her up? And even more so, why would you suggest that I specifically would be a hypocrite?

NeoBaggins - 1/23/2012, 4:24 AM
@Kes Yeah, Maggie is hit. Always cringe when Joker says "And you ARE beautiful". Don't know why that would make ME mad lol. You guys are really failing at trying to peg me with the "Nolanite" thing.

You'd rather fap off to a cardboard box. Cool lol Do your thing bro. smh

Those images again (except for Cap and Widow)...and Iron Man in the middle. Come on, Marvel, bring on some new character stills. (And when that happens, putting Iron Man's mask on probably will work better.)

not a bad cover, could be better though.

@Godzillafart I didn't say her tits were showing. Just referencing an old marketing tactic with a little tongue and cheek.

lol I forget where I am.
Sparrowsabre7
Sparrowsabre7 - 1/23/2012, 4:57 AM
@coughcough Well I'm guessing the Mark VIII (this armour) cgi wasn't done at the time so the Mark VI (from IM2) was used as a placeholder.

Scarlett looks great here. This is a great cover.
But can we just tease the alien army in the background Marvel?
And Iron Man has the circular arc reactor. Meh.
Chris and Chris as Cap and Thor look straight out of the comics.

And the completely ridiculous, unnecessary troll-ass reference to Nolan in an Avengers article goes to ... drum roll please ... Elguason, or whatever the hell your name is. Don't talk shit son.

helmsworth is sitting a little too close to the wind machine me thinks. i realize he can't believe it's not butter but come on.

Ceejay

Don't care that Scarjo reduced her boobs, she has the all important booty still kicking and that's all she needs. The skinny version they draw in the comics I can quite happily live without!

If they wanted to do the comic exact, then Mila Jovovich would be the prime choice and she's a walking bone aka a pretty stick! I'll stick with Scarjo!

Nice cover. The usual Thor & IM pics, tho.

For people that keep asking about the Iron Man chest-piece going from a triangle to a circle, in another image I saw the triangle INSIDE the circle now, so they didn't do away with it. And it's safe to assume that Iron Man wears more than one suit of armor in the film. Especially considering we've seen him damaged in the trailer. I doubt he would continue wearing a damaged suit for the whole film.

Really? We get these recycled overused photoshop covers? I'm done..[frick] their promo, just bring on the film, shyt is boring and sad.
Minghagz
Minghagz - 1/23/2012, 7:20 AM
BW made the cover but Hulk didn't? Wtf? I'm not amused... could have at least thrown in Bruce Banner if you're going to conceal the Hulk.

@teabag
I agree with you about Scarjo... she's lost her appeal over the years especially because she seems to have had a boob reduction. I think they should have cast a better actress for BW too. Oh well, I'm not going to see the movie for her anyway.
