Vin Diesel Hints MARVEL Role Involves A 'Love Story'

Comparing aspects of his supposed role to the love story in The Fast and the Furious franchise, possibly hinting at Thanos and Death, Vin Diesel has teased more about his meeting with Marvel. Check it out!

Judging by Marvel pioneer Kevin Feige's comments last weekend, Vin Diesal may have exaggerated these past few weeks about having a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, speaking with Entertainment Weekly during the Comic-Con weekend, the Fast & the Furious star further teased what his meeting with the studio involved. “I'm really not supposed to tell you anything,” Diesel said. “I can tell you that Marvel was excited about bringing a different kind of relationship, a kind of love story, I guess kind of inspired from the Dom-Letty relationship, into the Marvel universe.” Dom & Letty refers to Diesel's role in the Fast franchise and his

relationship with a character played by actress Michelle Rodriguez. Letty was killed off in fifth film, but was (spoiler alert) later revealed to be alive in Fast & Furious 6, which hit last May.

But a love story, eh? Despite rumors and years of Diesel campaigning for the role of The Vision, a love story, or “different kind of relationship,” sounds a lot like Thanos and his beloved Death. The Mad Titan has been confirmed to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy next year, but considering the many other already confirmed aspects of that film, Thanos' screen time will likely be limited. Of course, it's also possible for the inevitable Guardians of the Galaxy post-credits scene(s) could introduce and/or establish the villain's "rocky" relationship with Death, who is sometimes depicted as a skeleton cloaked in a black robe, and at times appears as a Caucasian human female.

Nevertheless, we must acknowledge that Kevin Feige has been quoted saying, “There's nothing to announce,” and that he loves Vin and he's “an amazing personality.” The producer also said that the potential announcement is “so far ahead it may not even exist.” That prompts me to believe Vin Diesel is only being considered for an undisclosed role, but has yet to sign on. What do you think?

If its Thanos & Death,I don't see how they would pull it off.
Making Death an actual character, real entity is a hard sell.
Besides she's a butter-face..smoking hot body,ugly ass face.

@marvel72

I read comics. I just never read the comic book story arc involving Thanos. But based on the last phrase within the Avengers and when I went to do research on the phrase it referred to a love relationship between Thanos and Death. Emphasizing how much he would do just to please her.

I'm not acting like I know all the comics because I totally don't dude! lol However i do know that when it comes I marvel nothing's never really that much expected. So I guess you could be right. Then again so could I! I'm totally pumped to hear Diesel's voice work or portayal for either role so I'm cool with either choice!

Yea I definently think it's Vision and Scarlet Witch, not Thanos and Death. SW and Vision is an actual love story, albeit an odd or "different" kind.

He's vision. It all makes perfect sense.

"I can tell you that Marvel was excited about bring a different kind of relationship, a different kind of love story"-Vin

Joss is bringing Scarlett witch ( Wanda Maximoff) into The Avengers 2, and if anyone reads the comics, the'll know Vision and Wanda have a relationship and eventually get married.

Dude, Vin's got to stop hinting at the role before it's official. Feige sounded a little pissed when he was questioned about it.

Marvel has demonstrated, on multiple occasions, that they're aren't unwilling to axe actors that piss them off. I mean, look at Norton and Howard.

I'm now more convinced than ever that Vin is playing Thanos

It's definitely Thanos since The Other told Thanos if he goes to war with earth, then he would "court death" as in Lady Death.

I second Hydra's request! GIVE US WONDER MAN!!! My fav superhero when I was a kid. Would make for a great TV show! "Entourage meets Heroes" An unemployed actor going on auditions and saving the world inbetween! Could get really Meta and have actor cameos playing their real-life selves and their superhero counterparts!
