This tweet from Scott Adkin's offical Twitter account seems to confirm that!

Adkins is arguably one of the bigger action stars today and certainly one of the most talented. He has starred in a string of action film roles in films such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Expendables 2, and is generally known to be the most complete fighter in cinema today.

Adkins is great. Good actor for sure. I just can't see him as Batman. He's not that good.

I could see him as a consultant for a fight scenes.

He kinda looks the part and he sure as hell can fight but i'm not sure if he can act.

@VenomSpawnRises that was the worst deadpool adaptation that could have possibly happened. The guy can't act so they got rid of his mouth and that is saying a lot for killing a character altogether because the actor is shit. I want a real actor not a freakin' stunt man.

If you click the link in the tweet, he looks the part. I've never seen him act before, by the way the new batman shouldn't shave. Leave some facial hair like the one in the comics, more specifically his facial hair in Arkham Origins

All and all, if he gets the part I'd be fine with it, he really shouldn't be posting all over the internet like that or DC might drop him, I hope he gets the part though, might be the first batman without a stunt double

This guy has the fighting skill to be sure but he's not a good enough actor for such a major role.
He can be the Batman stunt double..find a high quality actor to be Bats.

Adkins can study hard on his acting skills & portray Daredevil.
He looks like he's related to Ben Affleck!

yall r so quick to judge yes he can fight but oh he cant act for shit...well i DO NOT want a FAMOUS A-star actor to play batman..i want zack to stick with what he said...
he wants to get some1 who has had the same rep. as cavil before he was cast as MOS...i havent seen this guy act! but he is know for his fighting skills..give him a chance..i say he has the same rep. as cavil maybe a little lower but IF he gets the job he will be on the same level as cavil

i am for this guy for being batman i hope he gets the job.

i want some1 NEW! never heard of...this guy looks like a bruce wayne!! and he can FIGHT too...do his own stunts which will be amazing!...i really hope its him
