TDKR: More Info From Children's Storybook (Seems To) Confirm Bane's League Of Shadows Ties

Could be SPOILERS ahead. New scans might give us some idea what Bane and his cronies are looking for at the Stock Exchange in the movie. Also, a description of the character might confirm his connection to The League Of Shadows..

Unfortunately the second scan seems to have vanished! But it depicts Bane threatening a security guard. He demands access to "the computer", before promising to "thrash the place" if he doesn't get it. Now obviously the dialog won't be the same as in the movie but you get the idea. And perhaps more interestingly, the following description of Bane from one of these storybooks would appear to confirm the character is indeed linked to The League of Shadows, but is an EX member!..

‎"Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior."

More info suggests Bane is targeting Gotham;s wealthiest citizens (which we knew) so they can't provide any financial aid to the victims. Victims of what? Well the most interesting part is, Bane is apparently gathering together a group of criminals so he can form his own League Of Shadows. That'll teach em for not letting him be part of the club anymore!

Of course none of these descriptions and scenes necessarily mean they will pop up or tie into The Dark Knight Rises EXACTLY, but in the past these type of tie-ins have proved to be fairly accurate. Once again, many thanks to the lads over at the TDKR Facebook page for the info. TDKR will be with us July 20th.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

At least they kept his origin vague enough for us to fill in the details for ourselves; he obviously IS a guy born in prison and his connection to the League of Shadows (which is definitely there in "Vengeance of Bane") is also brought into the film. But obviously they say "not much is know about bane", which, if you read the comics, is true because from batman's point of view he has NO idea where bane comes from or what he wants until it's too late. I'd say it's a nice mix of multiple storylines featuring Bane.

Still, I wonder how he got into the building with that mask lol :D. probably uses his darkest forms of deception. The Dark Knight Rises, people :).

lol Shit, He was a part of the League of Assassins at one point in the comics. During "No Mans Land" he was appointed the next Heir by Ra's Al Ghul.

You know "No Mans Land"? When Gotham is struck by an Earthquake and Bruce Wayne travels around trying to find support for Gotham....And the Villains take over the City.....then he needs to return to help clean up the street and lead Gotham back to normalcy....

Never Heard of it? Oh you don't read comics?

Figures....

He'll sneak in like Ivan Vanko (IM2) did during the Monaco Grand Prix. Not much sense behind it -- but badass, nevertheless.

Gotham citizens only know the Bane who is always grabby grabby with his man tits. Him actually not holding on his vest gives off the perfect disguise tbh

This might explain Miranda Tate remaining good throughout the entire film. She is aware of Bane because he was banished from the league of shadows. I starting to think that Miranda Tate is based on or inspired by the character of Talia Al Ghul rather than actualy being Talia. She is probably still the daughter of Ras, but this is where I see the difference. In BB Ras explains to Bruce that the league has existed for centuries. Although in Nolan's world, Ras is not actually immortal. He is only able to give the illusion of immortality through deception. Ras Al Ghul is most likely just the name the league gives each of their leaders in order to reinforce that illusion and make it seem as though Ras is one man who has been around for centuries rather than several men. There for in Nolan's world, it would make sense that his daughter would not be named Talia Al Ghul seeing as how that was not her father's real name, just his title. I'll bet this will be fleshed out in the movie somehow. But Miranda could just be the name she goes by in order to distance herself from the league. Ok enough with the theories, I get a little carried away, lol.

Not sure if he'll be disguised as a janitor in the film but if he is it'll be just like when joker was disguised as a police officer in TDK...how would nobody recognise the man with big scars on his face? So we'll see
