TDKR: More Info From Children's Storybook (Seems To) Confirm Bane's League Of Shadows Ties
Could be SPOILERS ahead. New scans might give us some idea what Bane and his cronies are looking for at the Stock Exchange in the movie. Also, a description of the character might confirm his connection to The League Of Shadows..
Unfortunately the second scan seems to have vanished! But it depicts Bane threatening a security guard. He demands access to "the computer", before promising to "thrash the place" if he doesn't get it. Now obviously the dialog won't be the same as in the movie but you get the idea. And perhaps more interestingly, the following description of Bane from one of these storybooks would appear to confirm the character is indeed linked to The League of Shadows, but is an EX member!..
"Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior."
More info suggests Bane is targeting Gotham;s wealthiest citizens (which we knew) so they can't provide any financial aid to the victims. Victims of what? Well the most interesting part is, Bane is apparently gathering together a group of criminals so he can form his own League Of Shadows. That'll teach em for not letting him be part of the club anymore!
Of course none of these descriptions and scenes necessarily mean they will pop up or tie into The Dark Knight Rises EXACTLY, but in the past these type of tie-ins have proved to be fairly accurate. Once again, many thanks to the lads over at the TDKR Facebook page for the info. TDKR will be with us July 20th.
