Do a quick Google search for Alexandra Daddario and it won't take you very long to find suggestions and fan-art nominating her for any number of roles in the DC and Marvel Cinematic Universes.
Earlier this week, artwork started doing the rounds showing the
Baywatch and
San Andreas star suited up as Zatanna, but take a look at any list of casting suggestions for the role of Catwoman in
The Batman and you'll almost certainly find Daddario's name right at the top.
During an interview to promote the release of her new movie
Night Hunter (which is now in theaters and available On Demand), I asked Alexandra about the possibility of playing Catwoman and whether she would be interested in reuniting with Dwayne Johnson in
Black Adam after they previously worked together on the movies mentioned above.

I'm sure you're away that you're a fan-favourite choice to play Catwoman in the new Batman movie; is that a role you would be interested in or are there other superhero characters you have in mind?
Oh! I actually didn't know that. That's cool! Look, of course I would love to join any cinematic universe. I think those roles are really, really cool. I think they do great things for people's careers and it's always fun being in a big movie like that. I don't like to think too much about a role either before I have an audition or it's something that I'm working on. I don't like to get too invested in things I don't have but of course it would be silly of me to say, 'No, that's not something I want to do.' I think that's really cool and thank you to the fans for thinking of me!
It seems you get put forward for a lot of superhero roles whether it's Marvel or DC and I know you've worked with Dwayne Johnson a fair bit in the past. He's currently developing a DC Comics movie called Black Adam, so is that somewhere you would like to potentially reunite with him?
Again, of course! It would be silly for me to say no. I love working with Dwayne, I love his team, and those projects were incredibly fun. I've done big movies a few times and I think it's just so cool. The sets are so cool, I love doing stunts, and I love all that stuff. It's fun and exciting. Of course, that would be great but again, it's hard to think about something you don't have yet if that makes any sense?
