Remember Nolan was planning on bringing Joker back before Heath died? Do you think that this may be a version of the story he had in mind, just retooled to include Bane instead of Joker? I mean, with all this insanity being unleashed upon Gotham, I cant help but think of what Joker was planning to do in TDK before he was arrested at the end.

"Oh, you. You just couldn't let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You are truly incorruptible, aren't you? Huh? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won't kill you because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever."

@ACira: Before I once thought that. I think Nolan wanted The Joker to return to aid Batman against the League of Shadows. Like Charice Starling and Hannibal Lecter in 'The Silence of the Lambs'. Small role, like Scarecrow in TDK. But then again, maybe he just wanted him for the Blackgate breakout. Sad that his original plan could not come to fruition.

Awesome.

TDK had a lot of action scenes and stuff in it, but this is looking like there will be way more of that in the TDKR. I'm not surprised since this is Nolan last Batman film.

if Nolan wanted Joker back, with the anticipation that he would be back,.. I wouldnt mind if he would eventually right a story as to his intention on how Batman 3rd movie would have been developed.

JackDexx

@Azazel1
well i did say one, but if your gonna stalk me until i say some that you'll bitch at me for anyway, here you go. i haven't seen many. he does great, but he does make bad calls too.
Over complicating Inception, it wasn't hard to follow. i figured i address that first before you call me stupid out of rage. like i said it wasn't hard to follow, there was just no pay off to following it.
Leo's dead wife in Inception. he builds up a huge mystery with little bits here and there (which wasn't done very well) to reveal he killed her. no sympathy for Leo at all.
Joker's Scars in place of a smile. i know he did it to create a fell for the joker i understand his artistic reasons, it just wasn't as good as if he had done a smile.
Trying to ground batman in realism. i get batman can be done in realism to a degree, but the way he did it, it was just silly. a real man with all the resources in the world who still has trouble fighting just people. i get it if he's razzling Killer Croc in the sewers but he's fighting normal people in the nolan movies. i wouldn't fault him from staying away from the "super" villains, and sticking with normal villains, but he makes batman so weak despite having so much. if he had done it like frank miller's year one, a man in only a funny suit, it could have been more believable that he struggled to fight a clown. but with all the gadgets and resources it should be a piece of cake. and he still had unrealistic tech involved. the machine that drained water with out touching it but knew not to take the water out of our bodies. the iPhone sonar app (that was a joke encase you don't have a sense of humor).
more general batman decision i won't go into, because your going to get mad i pointed out the ones i already did.
i haven't watched all of his movies, but from what i've seen he is good. he's just not perfect.
His movie about batman just doesn't hold together, but at least it beats the crap outta batman forever!
I enjoy car chases, explosions, and suspense, but is it to much to ask that it all just make sense!
i know your going to get mad i actually responded. you would have liked it better if i didn't, so you could go around gloating about 'how much of a joke i am'. lol i'm a joke? no man i'm just a jokER (not a reference to the character just the term).

JackDexx
JackDexx - 9/1/2011, 5:45 PM
dark knight wasn't bad it just had some really annoying flaws. if you can get past them then it is good.

Inception was a bad movie. a great concept, but a bad movie. i was completely drawn in by the idea of a dream thief, like a cross between Freddy Krugger and Sly Cooper, but the execution was bad. that is enough to ruin a movie.
JackDexx
JackDexx - 9/5/2011, 7:49 PM
no it was bad. it does a good job of making dumb people feel smart, but it's a bad.
