Over at BevNet, which is a place for beverage industry insiders, there is this message from several weeks ago that seemingly confirms that Mountain Dew and The Dark Knight Rises are collaborating.
Is there any word on what the LTO Batman flavor will be or is it going to be just a specialty packaging like we've seen with the Star Wars Brisk? - cpnAhab

......................................

IndieWire is reporting that Warner Bros. is headed to Las Vegas and they're bringing The Dark Knight Rises with them. They will be at CinemaCon, which was formerly known as ShoWest. There is no word if new footage will be shown, but to put it in perspective, in 2008 Warner Bros. showed footage of The Dark Knight including the Joker's prologue. The three day event kicks off April 23rd.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

I'm not one for Mountain Dew, but I'd willingly get a can or two if it was for TDKR.

Is this gonna happen in the UK too? Or will we have to wait like 11 years for that limited edition to be released here?

@Marvel72 why even bother comparing Stella to Mountain Dew? It's like comparing a hamburger to a tomato, they're both completely different :P
